About the Role
AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI, bridging complex cloud data platforms with business users and AI agents. This role will own the infrastructure powering internal teams and external developers, partners, and customers building on AtScale.
Responsibilities
- Own the Shared Platform: Set product strategy and roadmap for infrastructure including compute engines, MCP servers, and core services, balancing team speed with platform health.
- Define the Developer Surface: Own the roadmap for external APIs and SDKs, addressing developer and partner needs for onboarding, documentation, versioning, and support.
- Lead AI-Facing Infrastructure: Drive strategy for MCP servers and interfaces enabling external agents and applications to reason over governed semantic context.
- Grow the Ecosystem: Lead integration and marketplace strategy across cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure, etc.), including packaging and certification for app and agent marketplaces.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- 2+ years focused on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs, PaaS/data platform ecosystems).
- Experience defining and shipping APIs or SDKs used by external developers or partners.
- Understanding of modern data platform architecture, data warehouses, LakeHouses, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems and marketplaces on cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with AI agent architectures and emerging protocols like MCP.
- Ability to balance competing internal and external demands on a shared platform.
- Strong technical fluency for detailed conversations with engineers about system design, APIs, and infrastructure trade-offs.
