About the Role
The Senior Maintenance Service Coordinator will support Maintenance functions in Facilities, working closely with the Facilities team, Production Operations, Suppliers, and equipment service providers to coordinate maintenance procedures and workflow. Responsibilities include planning daily preventative maintenance, coordinating mechanic tasks, and maintaining machine inventory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain spare parts inventory minimum levels in Micromain spare parts module to trigger re-order.
- Maintain reports on quantities of lift truck spare parts as well as building and electrical supplies.
- Research spare parts for equipment, secure quotes, and generate purchase orders.
- Maintain asset documentation in Micromain computer system.
- Assist Manager-Maintenance with drafting maintenance procedures (e.g., lockout/tagout, Hot work permit, confined space).
- Make minor adjustments to PM work instructions based on mechanics’ feedback.
- Make minor modifications to Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) instructions for production machine operators daily shift checks.
- Assist and train Mechanics on Preventive Maintenance (PM) software.
- Generate and close out maintenance work orders.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of architectural, structural, construction, and mechanical systems.
- General knowledge of production machinery and equipment, preventative maintenance, facility management, and general landscaping.
- Capable of embracing diversity and equity to ensure contribution to a respectful and inclusive workplace.
