About the Role
The Global Medical Education Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Getinge’s Global Medical Education programs across all product portfolios. This role focuses on creating interactive and innovative educational programs, assessing current programs based on clinical changes, and conducting needs assessments with clinicians and the field organization. The position also involves technical sales support, exhibit presence, and competitive surveillance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Medical Education strategic and tactical plans to support the safe and effective use of Getinge products.
- Oversee the governance for content, agenda, faculty selection, and attendee specifications for educational programs.
- Develop and deliver peer-to-peer programs.
- Identify and coordinate Healthcare Professional expert engagement for medical education programs.
- Work with cross-functional teams and the global sales force to ensure medical education programs meet stakeholder needs.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders through regular meetings, conferences, and responding to requests.
- Assist in developing new work processes and improving resource utilization for product lines and educational opportunities.
- Develop local, regional, and global medical education initiatives to maximize training effectiveness.
- Monitor project costs and review reports and newsletters.
- Schedule resources and manage operations within budget and timelines.
- Provide logistical support to approved grant programs.
- Support clinical education for field representatives and distributors.
- Acquire and apply clinical research data to reassess and recalibrate Medical Education strategies.
- Assist with scientific intelligence gathering and communication.
- Collaborate with the sales/customer education team to identify and execute key training initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Marketing and/or Business experience in the healthcare/medical device industry.
- Knowledge and experience in ECMO/ECLS and Ventilator products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to engage and present on assigned area of responsibility.
- Ability to lead and influence others within a matrix organization.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Requires up to 60% international and local US travel.

- US: Minimum USD $120,000, Maximum USD $150,000 plus 15% annual bonus
