About the Role
Champion AC and Plumbing is seeking a motivated Plumbing Drain Service Technician to join their team. This role offers hands-on experience and skill development in the plumbing industry, working alongside experienced professionals to learn drain cleaning, inspection, and repair, as well as customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with various drain service calls, including clearing clogs, performing camera inspections, and hydro-jetting.
- Learn to diagnose drain issues and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Maintain and organize service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Be available for occasional on-call shifts as needed.
Requirements
- MUST POSSESS A VALID TEXAS PLUMBING APPRENTICE CARD. (Proof required)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in a related field (e.g., general labor, construction) is required.
