About the Role
This leadership position supervises Energy Efficiency Consultants, managing engagement with manufacturers and suppliers of energy-saving products and services. The role is responsible for executing channel strategy, managing the energy efficiency portfolio, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Directs supervision of department staff, including personnel professional development, performance assessments, and recruitment.
- Oversees budgeting, invoicing, and tracking of expenses and energy savings.
- Develops RFPs for contracted services.
- Oversees the integration of strategic activities between customer, program administrators, advisory consultants, and vendor/contractors.
- Leads initiatives to research, identify, develop, and implement new value-added products and services.
- Develops relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Leads process improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory filings and oversight of rate-payer funds for Energy Efficiency programs.
- Leads the development of draft testimony and testifies in front of regulatory and legislative bodies.
- Represents Eversource in national energy efficiency conferences and stakeholder events.
- Manages a portfolio of channel partner relationships.
- Oversees the integration of strategic activities between the channel team, sales team, and implementation teams.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret energy efficiency/renewable technologies and understand their application.
- Fundamental understanding of financial principles.
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to make decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information.
- Demonstrates leadership, mentoring, and networking skills.
- In-depth knowledge of EVERSOURCE’s mission, organization, functional areas and resources, business strategies, Codes of Conduct, Business Ethics, and Environmental Policies.
- Experience in communication at various levels of organizations, companies and institutions.
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Experience Level
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management or energy efficiency.
- Experience and/or aptitude in development of and management of channel partnerships and programs also desired.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $130,530.00-$145,030.00
