About the Role

Perform assigned product application and related sales support functions for all sales channels, inside sales, and other internal customers promptly to enhance the company's reputation. Emphasizes Custom and Engineered to Order applications, communicating company policy and customer needs to ensure professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of DriSteem product applications and their integration with HVAC systems.
  • Liaise with Marketing on product offerings and SWOT analysis to improve market position and expand vertical markets.
  • Manage customer orders including pricing, custom requests, change orders, submittals, specification credits, and warranty inquiries, engaging with engineering and Product Management as needed.
  • Respond to and resolve all customer concerns.
  • Coordinate and communicate inside sales activities to ensure collaborative work.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to contribute to company growth and profitability.
  • Make recommendations for product improvements and expansion of vertical market applications.
  • Provide support on product information, application, sizing, pricing, quotations, submittals, system drawings, project budgeting, psychometric calculations, and final representative purchase pricing.
  • Develop rapport with representative offices.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation for DriCalc architecture and support developer/Product Manager questions.
  • Prepare marketing literature and sales presentations.
  • Write orders, verifying information accuracy and adherence to sales policies and procedures before entry.
  • Act as an internal partner with Marketing and Engineering, providing marketplace feedback.
  • Seek and recommend improvements for sales methods, procedures, and overall efficiency.
  • Fulfill sales representative and consulting engineer training as needed.
  • Quote accurate prices to all customers promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and networking.
  • Travel as needed, typically less than 20%.
  • Support continual compliance with ISO 9001 standards and procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety and health rules and policies, promoting safe work practices.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Requirements

  • Five plus years of related account rep and/or application engineering experience, preferably in HVAC products.
  • Prior experience as an Inside Sales Representative, in Engineering, or other technical positions at DRI-STEEM or other related manufacturing companies.
  • Operational and technical knowledge of the DRI-STEEM product line is preferred.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications and recommend proper humidification system solutions.
