About the Role
Serve as a key contributor to the security, quality, and integrity of the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Exam program. Monitor exam administration, investigate security breaches and candidate misconduct, analyze exam performance data, and implement policies to uphold industry standards. Your work will protect the credibility of the CFE credential and ensure a fair examination experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between the ACFE and its CFE Exam proctoring vendor.
- Ensure exam administration and proctoring activities are conducted smoothly and security protocols are followed.
- Address technical or procedural issues promptly.
- Respond to and investigate incidents that threaten the integrity of the CFE Exam.
- Analyze exam-related data for trends indicating suspicious activity.
- Research and address escalated exam integrity concerns.
- Conduct investigations into potential exam security breaches or instances of misconduct.
- Prepare written reports documenting exam integrity investigations, findings, and recommendations.
- Contribute to investigative activities related to potential instances of intellectual property theft involving CFE credential program materials and exam content.
- Conduct regular audits of completed exam sessions and processes to ensure compliance with security measures, policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain records of security breaches, misconduct, and related incidents.
- Research certification industry standards, emerging best practices, and legal requirements to contribute to policy creation and enforcement.
- Ensure departmental manuals, guides, and resources reflect current policies and procedures.
- Deliver clear, professional, and courteous written and verbal communication.
- Serve as a backup for the Exam Administration team in handling technical issues, exam eligibility activation, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, exam results, and retakes.
- Perform other duties as requested or required.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of previous professional certification or association experience, including direct exam program experience preferred.
- Degree in a related field a plus.
- Knowledge of certification industry best practices and accreditation standards strongly preferred.
- Prior security or compliance-related experience a plus.
- Proven skills in problem solving, analyzing data, building reports, attending to detail, presenting findings, organizing work, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Skilled in collaborating with internal and external resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to deescalate situations with a professional attitude, patience, and tact.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Salesforce reporting.
