About the Role

This position provides support to the Revenue team by maintaining and updating core business data, including audience forecasts and tracking, competitive audience tracking, rates, schedule changes, and inventory management. It is ideal for candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment and adapt to the media and sports landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Input and update rates and audience forecasts/posts for all RSM broadcast assets into a proprietary system.
  • Input and update Agency Deal parameters into a proprietary system.
  • Execute program changes based on business strategy in the proprietary system.
  • Maintain source data to support data standardization.
  • Support the team in developing estimates for RSM stations.
  • Track audience performance of RSM properties and the competitive marketplace.
  • Identify key insights, trends, and anomalies within large volumes of data.
  • Process, maintain, and communicate schedule changes to Sales.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Revenue Operations, Programming, and Insights.
  • Participate in streamlining, improving, testing, and innovating processes.
  • Engage in special projects and ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with high volume data entry.
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian media landscape, preferably linear television.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as InStar.
  • Strong track record of taking initiative.
  • Ability to manage short and long-term deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels within the team and internal departments.
  • Superb accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Openness to embrace change and new ideas and approaches.
  • Must clear a criminal background check.
  • A credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role.
