About the Role
Design and enforce enterprise cloud security controls within a highly regulated environment, focusing on AWS security architecture, governance, policy-as-code, data perimeter controls, and preventing data exfiltration.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AWS services before production adoption.
- Perform API-level threat modeling.
- Identify security risks.
- Develop preventive guardrails and least-privilege access controls.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Cloud Engineering, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security experience.
- Deep AWS Security Architecture and Governance experience.
- Experience with AWS IAM, AWS Organizations, SCPs, RCPs.
- Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego policy development.
- Experience with Policy-as-Code, policy testing, and validation.
- Experience with API-level threat modeling.
- Experience with Data Perimeter Architecture and Data Exfiltration Prevention.
- Experience with Least Privilege and Enterprise Security Guardrails.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs.
- Experience with Amazon EKS security and governance.
- Experience working in financial services, banking, capital markets, or another highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
