About the Role
The Senior Account Manager is an integral part of the Account Team, delivering an exceptional level of service and execution of programs on behalf of clients. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of client business needs and the competitive landscape, providing end-to-end project management for complex programs and strategic solutions to meet KPIs. The position is accountable for financial and operational performance, managing program budgets and resource utilization to ensure successful promotion of client brands, products, and services.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thought-leadership with insightful analysis of client objectives to develop innovative solutions.
- Drive all client activations and program activities, ensuring professional, accountable, and timely execution.
- Develop and manage program SOWs, ensuring alignment with contract terms and client commitments.
- Lead weekly internal and external status meetings and deep dives.
- Manage the proper distribution of all communications and client/account team interface.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of expenses and actual costs for approved program budgets.
- Update clients and obtain approvals as needed.
- Reconcile all program expenses in partnership with the program Production lead.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and guidance of creative deliverables, ensuring client review and approvals.
- Optimize processes to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage internal and external workstreams, including program folders and documentation.
- Maintain organized internal and client-facing documentation for efficient team collaboration.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and/or supervise other account personnel.
- Drive new business development activities, identifying new opportunities with clients.
- Remain current in industry trends.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, and brand activations within an agency setting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Lead, being primary point of client contact.
- Strong project management capabilities, organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Experience working with tech clients is strongly desired.
- Experience managing IRL experiential activations is required.
- Ability to learn and navigate various office management platforms (inclusive of but not limited to Office 365, Keynote, Google Drive, Smartsheet, Slack, Zoom, etc).
- Experience working with international teams and multiple time zones.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stay on your feet for extended periods of time.
