About the Role

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Aviation Specialist to be based in New York, NY, with an expected start date in Spring/Summer 2027. This role involves conducting aviation design, data analysis, and supporting business development activities under supervision.

Responsibilities

Building analytic and design skills.
Conducting aviation design under supervision.
Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
Collecting and analyzing data under supervision.
Using computer software for solving basic design problems.
Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Assisting in tracking financials for projects and pursuits under supervision.
Demonstrating full use and application of standard sales and business development principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Following established procedures, applying sound professional judgment, and approaching problems with a variety of solutions.
Preparing proposals and presentations and participating in pre-sales activities under supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Drafting/CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with MS Office.
