About the Role

Ferrero is seeking a commercially driven National Account Executive – Tesco to join our UK Sales team. This role supports the development of a key customer partnership, focusing on day-to-day management, execution of customer plans, and driving profitable growth for both Ferrero and Tesco. It offers an opportunity to build a commercial career in FMCG, gain exposure to a major grocery customer, and work with well-known brands.

Responsibilities

  • Support the National Account Manager in delivering the commercial plan for the Tesco account.
  • Ensure customer activity is executed effectively and aligned with Ferrero’s commercial and brand objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse customer performance using sales, promotional, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Make recommendations and support commercial decision-making by turning data into meaningful insights.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of promotional activity.
  • Ensure promotional plans are accurate, commercially effective, and delivered on time.
  • Contribute to forecasting and volume planning, maintaining visibility of expected performance.
  • Highlight potential issues or opportunities in performance and planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Category, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Marketing) to coordinate activity.
  • Ensure customer plans are brought to life effectively.
  • Develop relationships with relevant Tesco contacts.
  • Support customer meetings by preparing commercial information, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Take increasing ownership of account areas and contribute to the Tesco customer strategy as experience develops.

Requirements

  • Commercially minded individual looking to build or continue a career in FMCG Sales and National Account Management.
  • May have experience in an Account Executive, Commercial Executive, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Possesses strong commercial experience suitable for a major national account environment.
  • Confident working with data and numbers with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to turn information into clear insights and actions.
  • Understanding of sales performance, forecasting, promotions, and commercial investment is beneficial.
  • Genuine interest in customers, shoppers, and the UK grocery market.
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurately and on time.
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across different functions.
  • Comfortable developing customer-facing skills with Tesco stakeholders.
  • Commercial curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.
  • Keen to understand drivers of customer and category performance.
  • Willingness to challenge oneself to identify opportunities and take increasing ownership.
  • Previous Tesco experience is not essential.
  • Possesses commercial potential, analytical capability, and ambition.
