About the Role
This role requires a dedicated and experienced finance business partner to support the Equities, Fixed Income and Collateral & Liquidity Business Lines within the Markets Division, reporting to the LCH Group CFO. The division provides systemically critical, globally relevant, and highly regulated services including clearing, bilateral services, and financial resource optimization.
Responsibilities
- Own all financial aspects of the business, including month-end close, budgets, FY forecasts, strategic support, key projects, and commercial negotiations.
- Enable senior management to achieve targeted financial results by providing business and commercial support.
- Understand key business levers and indicators, linking them to financial data for proactive decision support.
- Deliver results within budget and track closely through monthly full-year forward-looking forecasts and analysis.
- Maintain monthly/FY forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities, and optimization levers.
- Develop business cases and financial return analyses to support international business development and change initiatives.
- Prepare Board Packs, coordinate the budget cycle, and conduct Annual Stress Testing, Reverse Stress Testing, and Annual Wind-down assessments.
- Negotiate contracts and challenge assumptions with Procurement/Vendor Management, demonstrating a strong commercial focus.
Requirements
- ACA, CIMA, MBA, or other similar accounting qualification.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- A good understanding of the industry and business context is desirable.
- Experience in a previous Business Partnering, Decision Support, or FP&A role is desirable.
- Has a commercial approach, able to provide strategic inputs as well as constructive challenge.
- Monitors financial performance and proactively finds opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Thrives in a matrixed environment supporting senior partners.
- Can navigate ambiguity and work through options with the broader team.
- Leadership and development of the broader Finance Team, including working closely with colleagues in various locations globally.
- A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively as part of a global team.
