About the Role
The Sr. Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing high-quality professional nursing care and leading the occupational health programs at an assigned facility. This role oversees the implementation and maintenance of facility-level occupational health policies, procedures, and nursing practices within the appropriate scope.
Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive injury and illness prevention and early-intervention program.
- Oversee workers’ compensation processes.
- Ensure all reporting and recordkeeping meet OSHA, state, company, and legal standards.
- Participate in facility management meetings to deliver health-related updates.
- Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
- Develop and deliver health education programs for Team Members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
- 2 years management experience.
- Knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Independent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to walk unassisted through the plant, quickly respond to medical emergencies, climb stairs, assess team members swiftly, and perform CPR if required.
- Ensure team members and supervisors are following prescribed modified restricted duty requirements.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
