About the Role
Responsible for providing general assistance to the Product Manager with the tactical execution of corporate and marketing plans, strategies, and projects. The role will assist in the improvement of an existing products marketing campaigns or developing new products fit for the company.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute key strategies to develop and commercialize new product lines.
- Identify target audience and assess the efficiency of product development and marketing strategies.
- Create product specifications for new products and analyze sales and category reports.
- Participate in new product sensory tastings, plant trial teams, and first production runs.
- Manage and analyze new products costing.
- Develop marketing materials for internal and external reference, including brochures, sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations, and product manuals.
- Create and review packaging, label design/copy, and artworks.
- Support key tasks in product line management, including marketing, sales, and production decisions, ensuring product quality and strengths are maintained.
- Maintain existing product lines.
- Support the review and rationalization of product lines.
- Maintain US and Canadian ECC NET for specified customers (1WS and GS1).
- Manage customer-specific portals.
- Conduct purchase order submissions and record keeping.
- Create and analyze sales and category reports and update internal project status reports.
Requirements
- Requires experience creating marketing and selling materials (brochures, sell sheets, website and social media content, presentations).
- Solid understanding of urgency in responding to internal and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear communications (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational skills
- A self-starter with the ability to identify projects, solutions
