About the Role
Seeking a Physician specializing in Psychiatry for a Locum Tenens position in San Francisco, CA. This role involves providing clinical care and on-call coverage in a hospital setting for adolescent patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to adolescent psychiatric patients, including rounding and on-site consultations.
- Perform admission evaluations and place appropriate orders for new patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
- Manage psychiatric medications and perform psychopharmacological interventions.
- Provide on-call coverage during nights and weekends, including after-hours admission and patient management.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Board Certified in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship.
- Possess a CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Hospital Privileges Required.
