About the Role
Lead a team, grow a centre, and change children’s lives. Take full ownership of service delivery, new member acquisition, team culture, and centre growth to build a high-performing environment where children thrive, families trust us, and your team loves coming to work.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of centre performance, including using KPIs and performance data to continuously improve results.
- Oversee centre profitability, including revenue management, optimizing staff efficiency, and driving membership growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop a supervisor and team of tutors.
- Create a positive, high-performance team culture with strong engagement and accountability.
- Ensure safeguarding of all children and maintain Ofsted and company compliance.
- Drive membership growth through community engagement, local partnerships, and marketing events.
- Deliver excellent family and member experiences from initial enquiry through to long-term progress.
- Manage day-to-day operations for smooth and efficient centre functioning.
- Balance hands-on educational leadership with operational excellence.
- Role model excellent tutoring and coach the team to support members in achieving real maths and English progress.
- Monitor and celebrate member progress, holding meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps.
- Build the centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement, and sales activation.
- Host trial sessions, manage enquiries, and ensure a welcoming new member experience for families.
Requirements
- Passionate about education and working with children.
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Leads boldly, takes full ownership of goals, and drives progress while tackling challenges head-on.
- Inspires and empowers the team, cultivating a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability.
- Uses data to diagnose needs, plan strategically, and improve results.

- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding, prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of every child.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

- Must provide a full employment history with all gaps clearly explained and evidenced.

- £31,250 - £33,750 PA
- Potential for an additional £1000 - £3500 uplift for London weighting
