About the Role
The Design, Development, and Delivery (D3) Team within AWS Worldwide Field Enablement is seeking a talented UX Designer to join our creative production team. D3 provides shared development services including Creative Design, Interactive Media, Motion/Video Production, and Localization services to support and empower our AWS Sales Field. We deliver enablement content that allows our field sellers to speak confidently to customers and bring solutions forth with AWS technologies. Using creative software and AI tools, you'll design solutions for interactive digital assets including eLearning, gamification experiences, video assets and enablement tools. You'll collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, Program Managers, Learning Designers, Motion/Video Designers, Interactive Media Developers, Localization and 3P Vendors to deliver engaging user experiences. This is an opportunity to shape how our AWS sellers learn, engage, and perform by combining your design craft with the energy of a team that values creativity, collaboration and delivering bar-raising user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions for interactive digital assets including eLearning, gamification experiences, video assets and enablement tools.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, Program Managers, Learning Designers, Motion/Video Designers, Interactive Media Developers, Localization and 3P Vendors to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Review a script or storyboard for an interactive learning module, working with the Learning Design and Strategy team while recommending key interactions or ways to improve the experience.
- Reference AWS brand guidelines, design direction and/or systems to ensure visual consistency and compliance.
- Walk through a high-fidelity prototype, sharing ideas for a new user experience.
- Communicate design decisions clearly, discuss technical constraints and make informed trade-offs to meet delivery timelines.
- Assist in the video production studios, editing footage, presenting ideas for social campaigns or directing an AI agent in building digital video assets.
- Use data to inform decisions and direction.
- Identify ways to improve processes, write documentation or contribute to the team's library of assets intended to empower Builders across the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with UX/UI tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and AI prototyping
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
