About the Role
We are seeking a People & Talent Analyst / Senior Analyst to contribute to building an exceptional team and employee experience during Thesis's continued growth. This is a generalist role covering both recruiting and Human Resources, involving talent identification, hiring, and supporting daily People operations. You will collaborate with the VP of Talent and company leaders on sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, benefits, employee experience, performance programs, and People operations. This role offers broad exposure and responsibility, allowing for learning the full People function and taking ownership of programs as you develop.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting processes from kickoff through offer acceptance across various functions and levels.
- Source and engage high-quality candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, outbound outreach, and creative strategies.
- Conduct candidate screens and assess talent based on required skills, experiences, and attributes.
- Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and expedite searches.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and analyze funnel performance, time to hire, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Continuously improve methods for identifying, assessing, and closing talent.
- Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a consistent experience.
- Administer benefits, HR systems, employee records, and policies.
- Partner on employee onboarding to ensure new hires are set up for success.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and company-wide People programs.
- Assist in planning company events and initiatives that strengthen culture.
- Respond to employee questions and serve as a trusted resource.
- Maintain accurate People data and build reports for organizational insights.
- Undertake new People initiatives and help build scalable processes.
- Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for candidate research, sourcing, outreach, interview preparation, and recruiting analysis, maintaining human judgment.
- Build and improve lightweight automations in recruiting and People operations, including workflows, reporting, documentation, and employee self-service.
- Apply AI to synthesize People data and feedback, identify patterns, and provide clear recommendations to leaders.
- Evaluate new AI and HR technologies, test use cases, and establish responsible practices for privacy, confidentiality, and fairness.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in recruiting, People Operations, HR, or a combination.
- Strong interest in a career across the broader People function, not just specialization.
- Experience recruiting or sourcing candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, employees, and senior leaders.
- High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling confidential information.
- A bias toward action and proactive problem-solving.
- Comfort working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and evolving processes.
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort using data for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Practical fluency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, with examples of improving workflows, analysis, or decision-making.
