About the Role
Tidal is seeking a Creative Director to establish the vision and quality standards for its product and brand. This individual contributor role offers a unique opportunity to be a foundational creative voice, shaping the future of artist careers. You will lead complex initiatives from concept to completion, influence strategy, and elevate the creative output of the team.
Responsibilities
- Originate brand platforms and campaign-level ideas, owning them from concept through 360 activation.
- Reposition and reshape the brand, ensuring cultural relevance and coherence across brand and product surfaces.
- Maintain the integrity of creative concepts from initial stages to final execution.
- Collaborate with an embedded creative-strategy team to shape project briefs.
- Design and direct designers, writers, and production partners.
- Partner with marketing, product, and partnerships leadership to execute campaigns.
Requirements
- A portfolio showcasing work led as a creative director, including brand platforms, repositionings, campaigns, and activations.
- Art direction background with visual judgment to lead creative concepts across various media.
- Proven ability to set creative vision and quality standards for a brand while remaining hands-on.
- Credibility with cross-functional leadership as a peer.
- History of identifying and incorporating cultural shifts into creative work.
- Experience applying brand thinking across multiple products or business lines.
- Experience working in agencies, in-house, or a combination of both.
