About the Role
Fuse Energy is an energy startup focused on making energy abundant and affordable. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee the expansion timeline, working across engineering, operations, and business functions to ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities
- Own the master expansion timeline end-to-end, from mapping workstreams and dependencies to tracking milestones through delivery.
- Build and maintain the plan of record (Gantt charts, roadmaps, critical path) for the entire business.
- Collaborate across engineering, operations, and other expansion-involved functions, adjusting priorities and sequencing as needed.
- Identify risks and slippage early, and drive tradeoff discussions to maintain expansion schedule.
- Translate ambiguous expansion plans into clear, shared timelines with defined owners and dates.
- Manage the cadence of updates, checkpoints, and escalations to ensure workstream accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in STEM, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience as a technical program manager or program/project lead on complex, multi-workstream programs with hard deadlines.
- Proficiency with timeline and project-planning tools, with a strong aptitude for building and managing Gantt charts.
- Ability to work directly with engineers and operators, effectively translating between technical and business teams.
- A persistent approach to maintaining plan accuracy and comfort with re-sequencing priorities.
