About the Role
As a Skill Lead, you will be responsible for the personal and professional development of the production team, ensuring a reliable quality standard. You will also personally oversee selected productions as a producer, ensuring alignment of idea, quality, timing, and budget. Additionally, you will conceptualize and manage our AI-enabled Production System, selecting the appropriate tech stack and integrating it into production.
Responsibilities
- Strategically and operationally develop production processes, standards, and setups.
- Act as Skill Lead, taking personal and professional responsibility for the production team, developing colleagues, and ensuring a reliable quality standard.
- Oversee selected productions as a producer, ensuring alignment of idea, quality, timing, and budget.
- Conceptualize and manage the AI-enabled Production System, selecting the appropriate tech stack and integrating it into production.
- Calculate fixed-price productions, protect margins, and determine where budget has the greatest impact.
- Expand the partner network for high-end productions, negotiate conditions and kickbacks, and maintain quality standards of external partners.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in producing social and CTV content, understanding the entire process from idea to final asset.
- Experience in the professional leadership and development of production teams, providing guidance, feedback, and quality standards.
- A clear vision for efficiently and future-proofly developing production processes, tools, and setups.
- Solid experience with AI-supported production and post-production processes.
- A clear stance on when AI, a hybrid setup, or a fully human approach is appropriate.
- Structured work approach, clear decision-making, and ability to bring together diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Based in Berlin.
- Native-level German language skills.
- Business-fluent English language skills.
