About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Radiation Protection Technician/Specialist to join our team at Hinneburg GmbH. This role involves supporting inspection, classification, and certification solutions within nuclear facilities, contributing to making the world safer.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of dose rate and contamination measurements, and related documentation for release applications according to StrlSchV.
- Operate gamma spectrometry measurement systems.
- Perform metrological determination of sampling points and execute sampling.
- Actively support sample management and its documentation.
- Support radiation protection monitoring of activities in controlled and monitored areas according to Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV) (operational monitoring).
- Advise radiation protection officers on radioactive residues and waste, and assign disposal options.
Requirements
- Completed certification as a Radiation Protection Technician (VGB).
- Possession of an unrestricted reliability check according to § 12b.
- Possession of respiratory protection suitability (G26) and completed basic respiratory protection training.
- Valid examination for radiation-exposed persons.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- Pronounced interest in physical processes and measurement technology.
- Analytical thinking, a high degree of initiative, and a self-directed, structured way of working.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
