Responsibilities
- Learn our holistic service offering, from the construction of complex decontamination plants to the execution of dismantling projects, the development of shielding solutions, and support during revisions of ongoing nuclear facilities.
- Support the planning and coordination of dismantling projects, release, and disposal procedures in nuclear facilities.
- Create technical concepts, accompany approval procedures, plan material flows, and implement packaging or disposal strategies.
- Take responsibility for schedule planning, cost tracking, and progress documentation.
- Participate in on-site inspections and technical meetings at facilities.
- Gradually develop into a chosen area such as residual waste treatment technology, radiation protection, final storage documentation, dismantling planning, or maintenance and construction of customer-specific shielding.
- Actively contribute to communication with authorities, partners, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and technical standards, such as the Atomic Energy Act (AtG), the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG), and relevant KTA guidelines in all project phases.
Requirements
- Hold a degree as a state-certified technician or master in the field of energy technology, electrical and control engineering, as an industrial master (metallurgy), nuclear power plant master (radiation protection), VGB radiation protection technician, or equivalent.
- Ideally have experience in the dismantling of nuclear power plants.
- Knowledge of the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV) is beneficial.
- Possess unrestricted reliability clearance according to § 12b.
- Demonstrate confident interaction with external partners and customers.
- Hold a valid driver's license for passenger cars.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level).
