About the Role

Supermicro's Sales Support team is looking for a dynamic Sales Support Specialist to assist a Sales team in managing customers and their orders. This role serves as a liaison across internal departments, provides product information to customers, and supports customer account maintenance. The position involves processing daily sales orders and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sales account maintenance.
  • Provide technical and administrative product information.
  • Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, including typing correspondence, data entry, and processing documents.
  • Generate quotations.
  • Monitor inventory and follow up on estimated time of arrival (ETA) with purchasers.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
  • Provide assistance for intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding order status.
  • Facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns.
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects.
  • Produce daily reports for clients.
  • Provide backup support for supervisors and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders.
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture.
  • Must have strong and effective professional communication skills (written, speaking, and presentation).
  • Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly.
  • Problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
