About the Role

Kraken is seeking a Client Delivery Lead to transform how North American utilities operate. This hands-on role focuses on turning ambitious transformation strategies into sustainable new ways of working, partnering with utility leaders and frontline teams during significant change to redesign processes, build capability, and embed new behaviors.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Kraken H&O model and communicate best practices to clients.
  • Lead the human and organizational workstream within client implementations.
  • Coach and mentor client leaders, acting as a trusted advisor during change.
  • Support clients in transforming recruitment and talent practices, focusing on reducing bias and championing diversity.
  • Design and implement key operational processes, including workforce scheduling and functional workflows.
  • Deliver leadership development programs.
  • Produce clear facilitation materials, training content, and slide decks.
  • Analyze performance data using Excel/Google Sheets to generate insights.
  • Communicate and influence effectively to gain stakeholder commitment to change.
  • Articulate Kraken's H&O value narrative, explaining its importance for people, performance, and the energy transition.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the global H&O Practice by sharing insights and co-developing content.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working within or alongside North American energy utilities.
  • Understanding of utility operations, including customer operations, workforce management, and operational performance.
  • Ability to define success for a client and maintain that vision through ambiguity and change.
  • Proven experience building trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Comfort working within a globally distributed team.
  • Based in or able to work from the New York office.
  • Frequent travel across North America required.
  • Right to live and work in the United States.
  • Must have the right to work in the country they are applying to at the time of application; visa sponsorship is not offered.
