About the Role
The Legacy at Oak Hill Senior Living Community is seeking Full Time Med Techs to provide resident care under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
Responsibilities
- Takes and records vital signs.
- Measures and records height and weight.
- Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
- Recognizes and reports abnormal changes in body functioning.
- Assists with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Transfers, positions, and turns residents.
- Provides skin care.
- Contributes to resident assessment and care plan.
- Provides nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services.
- Cares for residents with dementia.
- Follows the schedule of resident needs.
- Provides emotional and social support to residents.
- Promotes and protects resident rights, dignity, and personal belongings.
- Supports independent expression, choice, and decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Medication Technician Certification.
- Previous experience working in a Senior Living Community.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
