About the Role
The Legacy at Oak Hill Senior Living Community is seeking PRN Caregivers and Med Techs to care for residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
Responsibilities
- Supervise self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or the Assisted Living Director.
- Care for residents as if they were an extension of your own family.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting).
- Assist some residents with Ambulation and Transferring.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Measure and record height and weight.
- Calculate and record fluid intake and output.
- Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver required.
- Previous experience as a med tech required.
- Previous experience working with the Senior Living Community preferred.
- Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
