About the Role

As the Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for our brand, from evolving its positioning to the final touchpoint where it becomes visible. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Product, and Sales. Strategy and execution will be in your hands: you will develop the brand and bring it to market yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Roll out the rebrand: Plan and manage the rollout across all channels, prioritizing by impact, and executing it to the last touchpoint – website, campaigns, social media, customer communication, sales materials.
  • Anchor the brand internally: Empower Sales, Product, and Customer Support to champion the brand through training, workshops, clear guidelines, and active listening for situations not covered in the brand book.
  • Campaigns from concept to launch: Develop campaign ideas, write briefs, and manage them through to evaluation, closely collaborating with Performance Marketing.
  • Messaging & Copy Direction: Further refine our messaging framework and apply it yourself, rather than just managing it.
  • Creative Direction: Lead designers, copywriters, and external creative partners with precise briefs – Objective, Audience, KPIs.
  • Measure brand consistency: Monitor how the brand is perceived externally and make adjustments, rather than waiting for the next gut feeling.

Requirements

  • Experience with brand responsibility: Minimum 5 years in Brand Management or Brand Communication, with a period where the brand was truly yours.
  • Practical rebrand experience: You have rolled out at least one rebrand or brand relaunch in practice, not just conceptualized it – and can share what almost caused it to fail.
  • Internal rollout experience: You have gained buy-in for a brand from colleagues outside of marketing – through training, workshops, or persistent persuasion.
  • End-to-end campaigns: From concept through creative direction to evaluation, with an understanding of what Performance Marketing needs.
  • Creative direction: You write briefs that designers, copywriters, and agencies can actually work with – Objective, Audience, KPIs.
  • Hands-on approach: In a team of our size, you will also write the claim yourself sometimes, rather than commissioning it.
  • Languages: Fluent German (C1), proficient English for daily work.
  • Nice to have: Experience in the energy market, FinTech, or utility companies · Scale-up experience · confident use of AI tools in creative processes.
