About the Role
We're seeking an engineer to build services for creative professionals and implement features for the backend stack for Adobe Stock (stock.adobe.com). Adobe Stock is a service providing access to over a billion creative assets, integrated into Adobe desktop apps for seamless use across devices.
Responsibilities
- Craft innovative new features and maintain existing ones for Adobe Stock.
- Build highly scalable ingestion and delivery services for the Adobe Stock ecosystem.
- Debug issues across multiple systems.
- Share knowledge with peers.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience developing consumer-facing web applications.
- B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience building microservices in Node.js, Typescript and/or PHP.
- Experience implementing JavaScript techniques, such as modules, async/await, compiling and bundling, and server rendering.
- Experience building and maintaining services using GraphQL and familiarity with GraphQL federation.
- Experience maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant, and distributed services.
- Knowledge of how to apply computer science principles to real-world problems, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and data flow and storage.
- Strong familiarity with functional and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with quality-driven development and tools, writing your own unit tests and integration tests.
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- Love to learn new things, work hard, and have fun.

- $114,100 -- $214,950 annually
- $148,500 - $214,950 (California)
- $135,100 - $195,550 (Washington)
Benefits
- Total target compensation (TTC = base + commission) for sales roles.
- Short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans for sales roles.
- Base salary and short-term incentives in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) for non-sales roles.
- Potential eligibility for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
