About the Role
The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, picking orders, identifying delivered products, and sorting, organizing, and logging products in our Holbrook, NY depot. This role requires U.S. citizenship due to work with government contractors.
Responsibilities
- Accurately identify PC hardware and components, such as docking stations and hard drives, to ensure effective inventory handling
- Communicate via email on inventory-related issues
- Create and maintain an Excel spreadsheet
- Perform shipping & receiving and material handler duties
- Receive and document incoming shipments
- Stock and locate equipment
- Load and unload trucks
- Manage inventory
- Pick orders
- Scan and track assets
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- 3-5 years of related experience with consistent work history
- Attention to detail is critical
- Dependable, with an excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Forklift experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills
- UPS and FED EX shipping experience preferred
- Knowledge of PC hardware and PC components is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating and maintaining spreadsheets
