About the Role
Groth Pain & Spine is seeking a skilled and energetic Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their rapidly growing team. The practice offers competitive pay, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive culture. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Manage patient medication
- Perform procedures including trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections
- Create treatment plans which include modalities like physical and occupational therapies, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive procedures
Requirements
- NP or PA licensure in New York State
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus
- Must be hard working and high energy
- Must be able to balance a fast paced and highly efficient environment with compassionate and effective care
