About the Role
As a Sales Department Manager for Food, you will ensure the smooth operation of all processes within your department. You will be the point of contact for our gastronomy customers and responsible for leading your team.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team in the wholesale market independently, plan personnel deployment, and support your team in personal and professional development.
- Convince our customers through competent advice and courteous service regarding the fresh product range.
- Ensure the flow of goods, from ordering to attractive product presentation to sales, while keeping an eye on costs and sales development.
- Understand customer needs and support the further development and optimization of processes.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in retail (e.g., wholesale and foreign trade merchant, retail merchant, saleswoman).
- Leadership experience from a comparable position, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience with various product groups in retail and proficient use of MS Office.
- Enjoy interacting with people and have a passion for retail to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act responsibly and maintain an overview even in stressful situations.
- Willingness to work a two-shift system.
