About the Role
Lead the Strategy Behind Strong, Sustainable Communities. You’ll partner with senior leadership to develop operational strategies, strengthen maintenance teams, and ensure every Conifer community meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and care. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple affordable housing communities.
- Ensure readiness for HUD, NSPIRE, REAC, and LIHTC inspections.
- Support site maintenance and area facilities teams through training, coaching, and leadership development.
- Work with Property Management and Asset Management to align operations with budget, compliance, and capital goals.
- Track KPIs, preventive maintenance, and asset performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Champion OSHA standards and ensure a consistent safety culture across all maintenance operations.
- Identify technologies and best practices that drive efficiency, sustainability, and asset longevity.
- Support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
Requirements
- 8–10 years in property management, construction, or capital projects—preferably in multifamily housing.
- 5+ years leading multi-site or regional maintenance and facilities teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Experience managing RFPs, vendor contracts, and capital improvement projects.
- Familiarity with HUD, REAC, NSPIRE, and LIHTC inspection and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and CMMS platforms.
- Skill in developing and managing budgets, tracking KPIs, and optimizing costs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.
- When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
- Work schedules are subject to change based on business needs and property performance.

Salary/Compensations
- $95,000.00 - $110,000.00
