About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and/or Electrical Engineering to build our teams, starting as soon as possible, in permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Construction management, work preparation, supervision, and results control, as well as ensuring the economical, professional, and timely completion of our construction sites in the greater Berlin/Brandenburg area.
- Management of colleagues, equipment, and material deployment, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as communication with the client, participation in construction meetings, and internal reporting.
- Supervision and coordination of the construction site and external personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and overarching specifications (quality management) and guidelines (HSEQ / occupational safety).
- Competent point of contact for our clients, suppliers, authorities, and internal/external colleagues.
- Execution of construction projects and ensuring project documentation.
- Planning of work processes and organization of the construction site.
- Close cooperation with project managers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Relevant training/studies in the electrical engineering field or master craftsman/technician qualification with a focus on electrical engineering or comparable qualifications with corresponding professional experience (at least 5 years).
- Master craftsman, technician, or engineer in building services engineering or comparable qualification/knowledge with professional experience in building services engineering.
- Completed studies in building services engineering, building technology, energy technology, or training as a master craftsman or technician in heating, sanitary, ventilation (m/f/d).
- Training/degree in Europe, including recognition in Germany.
- Professional experience as a Construction Manager (m/f/d), in a coordinating role, or the confidence to grow into this role.
- Mobile, flexible, and willing to travel; residing in the greater Brandenburg/Berlin area is an advantage.
- German language skills at C1-C2 level.
- English language skills A2-B1 are an advantage.
- Knowledge of VOB (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen - German Construction Contract Procedures).
- Good MS Office skills and driver's license class B.
- Independent and committed work style, negotiation skills, and enjoyment of teamwork and joint achievement of project goals.
- Must not speak German or have a valid visa for the EU and accommodation; applications will not be processed.
