About the Role

BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH is seeking individuals for an apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering with advanced training as a Certified Power Plant Operator. This role is crucial for maintaining Berlin's energy supply and advancing the city's climate goals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and commission electrical systems, including control cabinets.
• Utilize control engineering knowledge for system setup and operation.
• Independently plan and execute work tasks.
• Install, configure, parameterize, program, and commission control systems.
• Optimize control systems.
• Provide customer support and manage quality.
• Take responsibility for the operation of power plant facilities.
• Work in modern control rooms.
• Contribute to the security of Berlin's electricity and district heating supply.
• Support the energy transition and the replacement of fossil fuels.
• Operate new, modern facilities.
• Work in a modern and digital work environment, including VR, AI, and robotics.
• Operate the Berlin district heating network using state-of-the-art technology.

Requirements
