About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Engineer / Structural Planner in building construction (w/m/d) at one of our German locations. The majority of our current team works in Berlin, Dresden, Halle (Saale), and Leipzig. This role is part of our global Places business line, where we collaborate with clients worldwide to create, foster, and optimize intelligent, safe, and sustainable places for living, working, learning, and thriving.
Responsibilities
- Processing demanding projects in building and industrial construction.
- Developing structural concepts and conducting variant studies to create economical structural systems.
- Creating verifiable static calculations.
- Contributing to the constructive implementation and execution planning.
- Coordinating and aligning with other planning participants such as architects, specialist planners, and executing companies.
- Providing technical guidance and support to designers and technical drawers.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural planning.
- Structured, goal-oriented, and independent way of working.
- Strong team and communication skills.
- High consulting competence and interdisciplinary thinking.
- Proficient use of common software solutions for structural planning and structural analysis, especially Dlubal RFEM and mbAEC.
- Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
