About the Role

Join our team in Berlin to manage project and grant funding, ensuring financial stability for our impactful projects. Contribute to a sustainable, fair, and livable society by managing budgets, personnel costs, fund requests, and accountability reports.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administrative and financial processing of publicly funded projects.
  • Review and prepare receipts, personnel documents, and other supporting evidence for fund requests, accountability reports, and audits.
  • Assist with submissions and uploads to grant portals, ensuring meticulous documentation and filing.
  • Maintain project, financial, and overview lists, assisting with budget reconciliation and the allocation and control of personnel and material expenses.
  • Research project-related information and documents for further processing.
  • Collaborate closely with the grant management team, project leads, HR, and accounting.
  • Independently manage assigned tasks and gradually take on responsibility for selected grant projects.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with IHK certification (e.g., Office Management, Industrial Clerk), or equivalent commercial qualification.
  • Initial professional experience in a commercial or administrative role, preferably in grant or project management.
  • Proficiency with numbers and strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Structured, meticulous, and reliable work approach.
  • Interest in administrative and financial processes and working with publicly funded projects.
  • Independent work style with a readiness to assume increasing responsibility after training.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with enjoyment in collaborating with various internal interfaces.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
