Responsibilities
- Translate infrastructure strategy into an actionable roadmap, leading high-impact initiatives.
- Mentor, coach, and empower a high-performing, inclusive engineering team.
- Define and optimize team processes, maintain an actionable backlog, and ensure efficient delivery.
- Partner with senior ICs to maintain a high bar for system availability and developer experience.
- Collaborate with Product, Ads, Content, and ML teams to align infrastructure capabilities with company goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an individual contributor in a modern engineering or infrastructure role.
- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams in high-growth technology organizations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of supporting diverse, multicultural teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, streamline delivery, and keep teams focused.
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English for effective daily collaboration across global teams.
