About the Role
The role involves the assembly of satellite components and test equipment, and supporting functional tests within satellite development, specifically in the AIT ("Assembly", "Integration", "Testing") area.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical processing of structural parts (activities such as drilling, milling, sawing, cutting, gluing)
- Goods receipt inspections of devices, structural parts, and components (functional tests, measurement/checking of dimensional accuracy, extensive cleaning)
- Assembly of devices and structures, detailed documentation of all related activities
- Creation and maintenance of instructions for device construction, device usage, and handling of laboratory equipment
- Setup of test fixtures (mechanical structures and electrical equipment)
- Support of test activities (setup of test adapters, installation of test objects in test stands, preparation of functional tests, support documentation)
Requirements
- Graduation as a technician with engineering fundamentals (focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar) or corresponding professional experience
- Practical experience in material processing (knowledge in drilling, milling, sawing) and handling common tools
- Methodical and structured work approach
- Good English language skills
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and working in a dynamic team
