About the Role
As a Project Manager in Defense, you will take overall responsibility for complex transformation and digitalization projects in the defense sector, from conception and management of team, budget, and schedule to successful implementation. You will be the central point of contact for clients and the team, ensuring that demanding requirements are translated into effective solutions with tangible added value.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for complex consulting and digitalization projects in the defense sector, including budget, resource, and schedule planning, as well as project controlling.
- Lead interdisciplinary project teams, foster their development, and create an environment for collaborative results.
- Serve as the central point of contact for the team, clients, and management, ensuring transparent communication at all levels.
- Advise clients on organizational changes and performance improvement, from analysis to tailored solution approaches.
- Introduce new technologies and digital approaches into defense-relevant processes and organizations, with a potential specialization in areas like Cloud, SAP, or network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Several years of project management experience, ideally in consulting, digitalization, or a comparable field, either from industry or a career in the defense, security, or military sector.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with a passion for collaboration and leading interdisciplinary teams.
- Secure communication in German (at least C1) and English, with the ability to persuasively present expertise in client workshops and presentations.
- A successfully completed university degree (e.g., in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science) or a comparable qualification.
