About the Role

If labor law is more than just solving individual legal issues for you, and you want to improve processes, develop pragmatic solutions, and help implement legal requirements efficiently, understandably, and future-orientedly, then you are in the right place. Advise our business units on all labor law issues together with the Employment Law & Labor Relations team and support HR management and executives in legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Advise our HR teams, executives, and decision-makers on all matters of individual and collective labor law.
- Develop practical and economically sensible solutions and actively incorporate current case law and legal developments into advice.
- Draft and negotiate works council agreements together with our stakeholders and employee representatives.
- Represent KPMG in labor and social court proceedings.
- Support (strategic) HR and transformation projects from a labor law perspective.
- Design training courses for HR and executives, conveying complex topics understandably and practically.
- Optimize our legal operations, support digitalization and standardization, and use AI tools to make our processes more efficient.
- Take responsibility for your topics and actively shape the further development of our labor law advisory approach.
Requirements
- Completed both state legal examinations with at least a 'satisfactory' grade.
- Possess two to five years of professional experience in labor law.
- Have proven expertise in individual and collective labor law.
- Work independently, structured, and with a high quality standard.
- Enjoy getting to the point with complex issues and developing pragmatic solutions.
- Think entrepreneurially; digitalization, automation, and the use of new technologies inspire you.
- Convince with strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and a pronounced team orientation.
- Very good German and English language skills complete your profile.
