About the Role
Shape how DoorDash approaches hiring by building diverse talent pipelines and creating a seamless experience for candidates and interns. This role is part of the Engineering Recruiting team, reporting to the Recruiting Manager for Global University Recruiting, and is based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for all technical intern and new grad hiring roles across the US.
- Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with high-potential candidates, partnership organizations, and universities.
- Build diverse talent pipelines and run smooth, efficient processes from first conversation to final offer.
- Embed DE&I principles into every stage of the process.
- Build and streamline interview processes and workflows.
- Train interviewers and coach hiring managers on best practices for hiring and managing interns and new grads.
- Iterate on training content for interviewers and hiring managers.
- Track and share key hiring metrics, pipeline reports, and market insights with leadership teams.
- Represent DoorDash/Wolt/Deliveroo at university events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Partner with hiring managers and leaders to define hiring needs, build talent pipelines, and shape hiring strategies.
- Manage the intern program, including planning events, creating onboarding, running performance reviews, and confirming benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a recruitment agency or in-house tech environment.
- End-to-end hiring experience in fast-paced, often ambiguous environments.
- Strong sourcing skills across platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse.
- Confidence using data to inform decisions, track progress, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Comfortable advising and influencing hiring managers and senior partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong program or project management experience with the ability to work autonomously.
- Adaptability to pivot quickly and keep things moving when priorities shift.
