About the Role
The Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience within multiple businesses (retail, rental, custom, and Omni-channel) within a store location. This role supports and positively impacts a culture of customer-obsession by being customer-ready and delivering a world-class experience. The Consultant engages as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results, navigating change to adapt to new programs and achieve expected outcomes. Additionally, the Consultant contributes to a healthy culture by working well with and demonstrating respect for colleagues at all levels, consistently contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
- Continuously encourage and participate in team selling.
- Build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact.
- Participate in monitoring and positively impacting store sales volume and metrics goals.
- Meet and maintain personal volume goals while maintaining an above-average quality of sale.
- Use tailors for all alteration fittings; when unavailable, accurately fit customers and provide alteration recommendations.
- Assist in receiving shipments, putting away new merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized store based on merchandising standards.
- Assist with visually merchandising the store, complying with brand standards.
- Help monitor the security of all Company property and report or document damaged or missing product.
- Assist in conducting merchandise stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Effectively participate as a member of a store team, supporting team goals.
- Maintain a workplace free of harassment and discrimination by adhering to Company policies and promptly reporting concerns.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
- Frequently bend, squat, and twist.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies.
- See and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
- May have the opportunity to voluntarily work between multiple store or site locations, and across multiple brands.
