About the Role

We are seeking a driven, resilient, and results-oriented Account Executive to join our expert Sales Team in San Francisco. You will focus on building and managing a high-performing sales pipeline, negotiating optimal terms, and driving supplier acquisition across the US & Canada, directly impacting millions of travelers and advancing GetYourGuide's position in the experience industry.

Responsibilities

  • Present in-person and online demos of GetYourGuide's products.
  • Educate operators on trends shaping the industry and provide insights on how to adapt, encouraging them to think differently about their business.
  • Effectively manage the entire sales funnel, including outreach, negotiation, closing, and onboarding, to consistently hit and exceed quota.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align supplier acquisition with broader business goals, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Represent GetYourGuide at relevant industry events to drive acquisition and build credibility.
  • Listen to operator needs and feed that insight back to senior management.
  • Regularly travel (up to 25%) to build strong relationships with suppliers in destination and create long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Competitive, tenacious, and results-driven, with the resilience to thrive under pressure and against ambitious goals.
  • Excel at handling objections, reframing conversations with insights, and creating constructive tension to close challenging deals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, using data to prioritize actions and inform decisions.
  • Fluent English with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, able to articulate value clearly across diverse audiences.
  • Knowledgeable about the travel industry, able to talk credibly with Tour Operators & Attractions.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to assess opportunities, read prospective buyers, and use data to prioritize and persuade.
