About the Role
We are recruiting Care Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting service users across South West London to live safer and supported lives in their own homes. Every day is different, offering meaningful, rewarding work that changes people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Follow individual care plans and assist with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence management).
- Assist clients with preparing and administering medication.
- Help clients with mobility problems and physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids/adaptations.
- Assist with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and assisting with feeding if required.
- Perform domestic tasks including shopping, housework, making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
- Provide companionship through engaging conversations, activities, and outings.
- Manage medication, including collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and assisting with administration.
- Assist with getting around safely, including transfers, walking support, and using mobility aids.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and maintain connections with family and friends.
- Provide emotional support, empathy, and reassurance.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and changes in client condition.
- Ensure a safe living environment and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with care team members, healthcare professionals, and family members.

- No social care experience necessary.
- Must have compassion, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to delivering top-notch, respectful care.
