About the Role
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms and apartments, including making beds, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with all training and tools provided.
- Build positive working relationships with team members, guests and contractors.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure guest areas are presented to the highest standard.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience highly regarded, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
- Professional communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical handling is advantageous, with training provided.
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Working rights within Australia or New Zealand.
