About the Role

As a Consulting Manager (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy, you will act as a trusted sparring partner for executives, manage complex, cross-functional transformation programs, and drive organizational change on a large scale.

Responsibilities

Lead AI transformation programs, managing end-to-end implementation from focused projects to large-scale transformations.
Identify internal promoters, engage stakeholders, overcome hurdles, and ensure measurable adoption and organizational change.
Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to answer business-critical questions regarding AI's impact on business models and data governance.
Provide strategic advice, assist with model selection, and evaluate technical feasibility.
Drive business growth by actively advancing the German practice group, engaging in lead generation, pipeline conversion, and strategic account development.
Position Artefact as a go-to partner for Enterprise AI through expert discussions, content creation, and sharing insights on AI trends and implementation paths.
Develop methods, tools, and frameworks to keep the offering up-to-date, designing reusable transformation playbooks.
Lead and mentor agile, hybrid project teams (Consultants, Data Scientists, and Engineers), fostering a dynamic 'can-do' culture.

Requirements

Approximately 5-8 years of relevant experience in management consulting, the tech industry, or a dynamic environment (e.g., leading startups or boutique consultancies).
A track record in implementing data, analytics, or AI projects is essential.
Solid experience in leading complex, cross-functional transformation programs.
Ability to navigate corporate environments and engage with executive leadership.
Capability to sustainably anchor AI competencies within client organizations.
Deep, practical understanding of modern AI architectures (e.g., LLM-powered workflows, Agentic AI, Generative AI) and AI evaluation best practices.
Ability to credibly demonstrate AI concepts and competently discuss data privacy issues.
Sound knowledge of common machine learning methods, cloud architectures, and data management principles.
Excellent quantitative skills to derive strategic insights from complex datasets.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
Strong presence and ability to translate complex technical topics into compelling arguments for non-technical senior management.
Ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation teams.
A valid work permit for Germany.
