About the Role
Brex is seeking a Product Manager to join their core AI team, focusing on building and owning AI agents for finance administrators. This role involves end-to-end ownership of product direction, strategy, and execution, with a focus on enabling finance teams to manage spend compliantly and gain insights into company finances. You will work with cutting-edge AI technology, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and have the opportunity to shape the future of AI in finance.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction for the Finance Admin AI surface, including strategy, roadmap, and daily decisions.
- Translate complex finance workflows into agent behaviors that are effective in production.
- Define and implement methods for evaluating agent judgment, including evals, prompting, and feedback loops.
- Actively prototype, measure, analyze data, and iterate on solutions.
- Incrementally earn autonomy by determining appropriate levels of agent recommendation and action.
- Engage directly with finance administrators to gather feedback and drive product iterations.
- Maintain a high quality bar for agents operating in a critical financial context.
Requirements
- Experienced product manager with a track record of owning complex, user-facing products end-to-end.
- Experience building products for company administrators, specifically in finance, accounting, HR, payroll, IT, or compliance.
- Product experience must be from software sold to other companies, not internal systems.
- Depth in company workflows or data/reporting, with a genuine interest in the other.
- Technical depth, with experience in systems without a single correct answer (e.g., AI/ML, search, risk detection).
- Comfort with ambiguity, probabilistic systems, and making iterative improvements.
- Strong product taste and judgment.
- Ability to move fast, go deep, and engage with details.
- Hands-on experience in prompting or eval design is a plus.
- Familiarity with fintech, expense management, or accounting workflows is a plus.
