About the Role
As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that place dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do. Each shift brings fresh challenges, rewarding moments and the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.
Responsibilities
- Supporting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming
- Assisting with the preparation and administration of medication
- Supporting mobility and the safe use of aids and equipment
- Preparing meals and snacks and providing mealtime support
- Carrying out light domestic duties, including laundry, making beds and light cleaning
- Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships
- Collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration
- Cooking nutritious meals, considering dietary needs
- Light cleaning, laundry, tidying
- Transfers, walking support, use of aids
- Observing and reporting changes in condition
- Helping maintain community and family connections
- Empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear
- Accurate record keeping
- Creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed
- Working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families
